For example, in planning a transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) procedure, the Precision TAVI™ software models the interaction between a valve choice and the patient’s unique anatomy, helping the physician determine the which valve to choose and its optimal valve size and placement to minimize risks. Currently every year thousands of patients suffer from a variety of complications including death only to find out in hindsight that the chosen valve was not compatible with the patient’s unique anatomy.
We founded DASI Simulations to take the guess work out so physicians can eliminate treatment choices that would result in death or complications. Our products bring predictive power in the hands of physicians so they can focus on not only eliminating complications and death but further personalizing treatment options for the lifetime of the patient such as ensuring optimal outcomes for any future interventions.
