Tempagenix was founded by two friends and colleagues, Shelly Heller and April Pollock, when they saw a need for a low cost, disposable and sustainable forehead thermometer for the consumer market. With the support of their WBENC contacts, the duo took a chance on launching the new start-up nationally and landed Walmart.com as their first retail channel! Temp-N-Toss is now distributed at Target retail locations nationwide. Temp-N-Toss is manufactured and warehoused in Dayton, OH with 100% of items sourced from the U.S. The strips use a proven liquid crystal technology from our manufacturer that has traditionally been sold in bulk to hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. Our manufacturing facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified and manufactured to FDA standards. Temp-N-Toss is registered as a Class II Medical Device and uses a medical-grade adhesive.
