Palarum, LLC is developing technology focused on ensuring and enhancing patient safety. Palarum's PUP smart socks are the most advanced patient mobility monitoring system in healthcare. Using wireless, Bluetooth, wearable technology, the PUP system immediately alerts nurses that a patient is out of bed, walking unassisted, and at risk of falling. PUP technology, originally developed to prevent patient falls, has already evolved into a viable solution for rehabilitation, long-term care, and physical therapy facilities.
