Cell X Technologies, Inc., founded in 2017, is a spin-out of the Cleveland Clinic by stem cell scientist and Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. George Muschler. The company's initial product, "Cell X," is an automated robotic cell processing platform, designed and engineered in collaboration with Parker Hannifin Corporation. The Cell X Automation System builds on this platform and integrates automated large-field-of-view microscopic imaging, image analysis, atraumatic cellular picking and placing, cell culture media changes, plate handling and storage for up to 500 plates, all within an environmentally controlled and isolated GMP-capable system.
