Ohio Life Sciences appoints Jon Snyder as Managing Director of Investor Relations to drive economic development and member services strategies

Ohio Life Sciences (OLS), the state association advancing and advocating for the common interests of Ohio’s life sciences community, today announced the addition of Jon J. Snyder as Managing Director, Investor Relations for OLS. Snyder will lead the business development strategy for OLS, advancing the organization’s member services strategies, life sciences advocacy and economic development initiatives. In November, OLS announced a rebrand and restructure in a leap forward that best serves Ohio’s life sciences ecosystem of today and tomorrow.

“Jon will be a powerful addition to the team, leading our business development and investor relations strategy to grow our effort and impact in Ohio,” said Eddie Pauline, OLS President and CEO. “His 30 years of global management experience in biomedical and healthcare sales, marketing and operations, with extensive experience in bringing new products to the marketplace, will help expand our state’s life sciences initiatives.”

Snyder is the founding CEO and executive advisor of Neuros Medical, Inc., a Cleveland, Ohio-based medical device company, which he led through several years of development, raising $40 million in venture capital and strategic partner investment. His background covers company formation, business development, product development, market management, sales management, venture capital investment, and fundraising at startup and leading Fortune 500 companies, including Cyberonics, Cardinal Health, Imalux, Realeve and STERIS. He sits on numerous educational, business and community boards, and is a frequent speaker/class lecturer.

“I am thrilled to join the OLS team and continue work that supports and grows the strong life sciences ecosystem in the state,” said Snyder. “Having formed, led and developed life sciences companies here in Ohio, as well as engaging in the vibrant life science support environment and networks in the state, I feel privileged to be part of the Ohio Life Sciences effort.”
