The new JobsOhio Relocation Incentive, offering up to $225,000 per company to help attract and recruit STEM and technical talent from outside the state, is exactly the kind of bold, strategic investment that strengthens our competitive edge.
Through this program, employers will receive a $15,000 incentive payment for each qualifying new hire who establishes permanent residency in Ohio and begins work. Funding is first-come, first-served, with up to 15 hires per company eligible until program funds are depleted. Best of all, it’s no strings attached, direct payment to the employer with no restrictions on how the funds are used. Dedicated funding for companies of all sizes means any employer in Ohio’s life sciences sector can benefit.
