Ohio Life Sciences launched in November, 2022 and we’ve worked tirelessly to ensure that Ohio will be recognized as one of the most robust and innovative life sciences ecosystems in the country. The momentum this organization and industry have built is exciting, and it’s growing into sustainable economic development and even more life-saving treatments and devices in the years to come. These are successes that our members and all Ohioans can be excited about. Highlights of the incredible strides we’ve made:

  • InnoHealth Summit launched bringing together leaders from across the state.
  • Clinical trials progressed and approvals occurred at dozens of our life sciences organizations like Sarepta Therapeutics, Sermonix, Invirsa, and Enable Injections.
  • The $620 million acquisition of Forge Biologics was a success in sharing the importance of mergers and acquisitions to drive innovation.

… And, we’re just getting started. In 2024, we need your help:

  • Schedule 15 minutes with me. Share the great science you are doing — it differentiates our state from others. We are looking for examples of scientific achievement to share with funders, investors, and other life sciences companies.
  • Learn more about our advocacy efforts. Help us host local, elected officials and invite us to tour your facilities, so we can all experience the great things that this industry is doing.
  • Share the benefits of membership. Encourage the people you work with to join us, to invest in us — both as members and as sponsors.

Continue to help shape a brighter future for Ohio and the world of life sciences.

I look forward to your engagement in 2024!

All my best,

Eddie Pauline
