OLS is Ohio’s life sciences industry trade association, representing an industry that includes more than 4,200 organizations statewide. Ohio Life Sciences convenes and advocates on behalf of biotech, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, labs, digital health, gene and cell therapy, agricultural biotechnology, and research and academic institutions throughout Ohio. OLS is the voice representing and advocating for the common interests of our life sciences community.

The Ohio Life Sciences Association (OLS)
A new 501(c)(6) to serve as the member-based organization with a focus on economic and workforce development and advocacy.
The Ohio Life Sciences Foundation (OLSF)
A 501(c)(3) focused on delivering research and funding that will accelerate and promote a robust life sciences industry in Ohio.

OLS represents Ohio as the state’s representative on the Council of State Bioscience Associations, a confederation of state-based, independent, non-profit trade organizations. OLS is also the state affiliate of AdvaMed, BIO, MDMA, and PhRMA – national organizations working to support the life sciences industry. The organization’s founding members include Battelle, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, The Ohio State University, Ohio University, P&G, University Hospitals, and the University of Cincinnati.
