Member investors of Ohio Life Sciences are individuals and organizations committed to the advancement of Ohio’s health, bio, and life sciences industry. Joining the organization, and acting as a collective voice, support of legislative and regulatory initiatives, life science business ventures, professional networking, and educational endeavors in the state are strengthened.
Advocacy
Ohio Life Sciences works with local, state, and federal agencies, officials and representatives to advocate for the common interests of the life sciences community to accelerate progress. Members can also engage in government relations through the OLS Advocacy & Public Policy Committee, legislative-focused events, Federal Legislative Fly-ins, and roundtables with public officials.
OLS is the Ohio affiliate of national industry groups Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Medical Device and Manufacturing Association (MDMA), and Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).

Convening industry leaders and educators, Ohio Life Sciences hosts events that provide exceptional networking and partnership-building opportunities in addition to knowledgeable and influential industry speakers. Educational and signature event topics include diversity, patients, careers & leadership, regulatory affairs, government relations, and business growth.

Ohio Life Sciences provides member investors with valuable industry information and a venue for increased awareness and visibility.
We have long been the go-to source for data on the bioscience and life sciences industries in our state, including statewide and regional analysis of life sciences and bioscience employment, wages, new company growth, acquisitions, private investment, research funding, bioscience-related graduation rates, and much more. While much of this data will continue to be summarized and published in The Ohio Life Sciences Report, OLS member investors have access to additional details and materials not otherwise released.
